Ghost in the Shell is what many say could be the inspiration to James Cameron’s terminator franchise , it’s about originally a Japanese manga comic that told of a fictional counter-cyberterrorist organization in the mid-21st century.
In 2017 the film finally got made with Scarlet Johansson starring , however the film turned out to be a big disaster and that was that for the franchise.
However Streaming Giants Netflix see something different in it and have decided to revive the franchise first with an anime and then with a live Action.
Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045 will have directors Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell) & Shinji Araki (Appleseed) on board.
The film is all set to release globally on in 2020. Post that netflix is planning to make a live Action film for the same and has even zeroed in on an Actor.
Netflix is all set to expand it’s action slate and will be making multiple animation Action films starting with Ultraman that will bow on Netflix next year.
