Breaking News – Gareth Evans Of Raid and Raid 2 to Direct Death Stroke.

This was a Sooner or Later Scenario . Well Better late than never . It’s Official, Gareth Evans Of the Raid redemption fame is set to direct  Death Stroke.

Seeing the Success of DeadPool Warner has Greenlite it’s own Bad meets good guy Action Hero Villain Death Stroke.  Joe Manganiello, was cast as Deathstroke  in The Stand alone Batman Movie, however it will be interesting to see if they will keep him as Death Stroke or find someone else to play the iconic Character.

Gareth who is  Welsh made a great name for himself when he moved to Indonesia to make a documentary on Silat. He soon made raid on a 800,000 $ budget and the film did over 15 million USD world wide. As an Action film director he like long takes and focuses more on Choreography than camera work.

Deathstroke the Terminator first appeared in 1980, in the second issue of the book New Teen Titans. He was originally introduced as “the Terminator”, a mercenary who was completing the terms of a contract undertaken by his son  .

From the Looks of it, this film will be another R rated Smasher of a hit. Stay tuned in for more.
