If you were a kid who grew up in the ninetees and had upgraded from Atari to Sega you all know about Sonic the Hedge Hog.
It was by far the coolest game of it’s time a push of a button and sonic would achive super sonic speed it was amazing. Times changed and so did the video game industry and soon the super sonic hedgehog faded into the sunset.
However he is finally being brought to life in an amazing live action movie with a cast and studio locked for it.
Westworld’s” James Marsden will star in Paramount’s live-action/animation hybrid movie “Sonic the Hedgehog,”
The game featured a hedgehog named Sonic on a quest to defeat Doctor Robotnik, a scientist who has imprisoned animals in robots and stolen magical Emeralds.
Paramount landed the film rights to the classic game in 2017 and has tapped Jeff Fowler to direct the adaptation.
“Deadpool” director Tim Miller will serve as executive producer and has put the project together. Miller is currently directing the Terminator Series for Paramount and has previously worked for current paramount ex Fox Ceo Jim Gianopolis.
Set to hit theaters on Nov 2019 , the fan’s of this awesome game can hardly wait.
