The Transformers Franchise has gone into a major reboot After Michael Bay stepped away and The Last Knight under performed significantly at the box office . However Paramount under the new leadership of Jim Gianopolis has no mood of slowing down the franchise.
The Studio had green lite the Spinoff of Transformers titled Bumblebee . Directed by Travis Knight who has directed the Stop motion Action Fantasy film Kubo and The 2 Strings the film is written by British Writer Christina Hodson.
Twenty years before the events of the first film, in 1987, Bumblebee takes refuge in a small California beach town junkyard, where a teenage girl named Charlie Watson takes him Bumblebee in
However, the two of them soon find themselves hunted by a Government Agency known as Sector Seven, lead by Agent Burns( John Cena). As they run from society, the two learn that Bee isn’t the only Transformer on Earth, and that the others might not be as friendly. Soon the Hunted Joins the Hunters to finish the baddies .
Everyone was speculative about what the spin off would be like since the last films fared poorly. However the most important thing to take away from the film is the relationship between bee and Charlie (Hailee Stienfeld – Barely lethal ) is amazing and makes the trailer an extremely compelling watch .
Produced by Micheal Bay and legendary Action film producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura the film is distributed by Paramount Pictures.
Set to hit theaters on 21 st December world wide , this is the perfect film to reboot the Transformers Franchise.
