Gal Gadot won hearts , the critics and the Box office big time with her amazing portrait of Diana aka Wonder women . The film turned out to be the biggest film in cost to profit ratio for Warner and was the first women film to enter into the 100 million in it’s first weekend.
Gal who hails from Israel has shot to great heights and the now she has joined on the Dwayne Johnson starrer Red notice an international action thriller which Rawson Marshall Thurber is directing from his original script.
Universal Pictures won an aggressive multi-studio bidding war that ended with a commitment to the biggest package deal this year. Red Notice will begin shooting April next year in Europe. The film is apparently an action-comedy that’s set around Europe, the heist thriller is set between three-hander Johnson, Gadot and another who’s name is not revealed.
Apparently the director Thurber flew to London for less than 2 days to pitch Gadot in person who agreed immediately.
This is Thurber’s third collaboration with Johnson who is the go to guy in big tentpole action flicks. The due most recently completed Skyscraper, which Universal and Legendary are releasing July 13.
This will be Gadot’s first starring role outside the DC universe since she joined the A-list on Wonder Woman. She is currently shooting Wonder Woman 2, with director Patty Jenkins.
