EX DC Universe head Geoff Johns all set to write and produce Star girl

What Kevin Fiege is to Marvel Geoff Johns is to DC . Johns spear headed the DC universe and though it didn’t go nearly as well as marvel it still got a massive success in wonder women.

Last Month Johns stepped down as the chief creative officer of the DC Universe. However  Barely a month after stepping down Geoff Johns already has landed his  TV project for his new first-look producing deal with Warner Bros his ex employer .

Stargirl is the sixth series overall for the digital subscription service and its fourth live action offering on the SVOD platform of DCU.

Stargirl was the first character he created for DC “Most importantly, Courtney Whitmore was inspired by his  sister who passed away  he added To have an opportunity to tell a story celebrating this superhero was literally the first thing he wanted to do.

The new series,  is about high school student Whitmore who bands together with the Justice Society of America to fight villains, in the past and present.

Stargirl joins Titans and Doom Patrol as live action projects Johns is EPing with Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter for the DC Universe service.
