Michael Bay is clearly showing he is way over the transformers Universe. After the last knight under performed at the box office Bay exited the franchise. He’s back with his next Six Underground that stars Ryan Reynolds for Netflix.
The project, which has been described as being in the tone of Deadpool meets Mission: Impossible, centers on a group of six men and women who team up to fight evildoers. All have numerical code-names, with Reynolds’ character known as “One.”
Bay is super kicked on the project and though there was no news on other casting , now their is . Lior Raz, co-creator and star of the Israeli TV political thriller Fauda, is joining Ryan Reynolds in Six Underground. Along with him Bohemian Rhapsody’s actor Ben Hardy too Joins the cast.
Raz found international success with Fauda, the acclaimed series that was picked up by Netflix for its second season. He became the obvious choice keeping his relation with Netflix.
Hardy on the other hand starred in the BBC limited miniseries The Woman In White and in Haiffa Al-Mansour’s film Mary Shelley, and he played the mutant Angel in the Singer-directed X-Men: Apocalypse.
The action film 6 Underground is based on an original idea from writers and executive producers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who scripted the Deadpool films along with G I joe retaliation.
Netflix and Skydance are producing the project, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger are producing Six Underground, along with Bay and Ian Bryce which is scheduled to begin shooting next month in locales such as Italy and the United Arab Emirate. Sky Dance which is owned by David Ellison is on a major role after the success of Mission impossible fall out.
The fans cant wait for this film to release .
