MGM has only 2 titles that it can truly get it’s board to green lite , one is The Rocky spin off Creed and the other is the prestigious Bond franchise.
Bond has been a through and through winner , and the latest and Last installment for Daniel Craig was supposed to be the grande finale.
However ever since Boyle exited the project the film seems to be collapsing like a house of Cards. MGM and Eon Productions continue their search for Danny Boyle’s replacement as director of the 25th Bond movie.
Names like Sam Mendes are doing the rounds , however it’s clear that Bond 25 will miss it’s announced release date and to add to the woos the script written by Boyle is tossed out too.
Neal Purvis and Robert Wade are set to return to the series and pen a new script for the next installment.
The duo has been on the Daniel Craig James Bond films since he debuted in “Casino Royale,” and had penned an approved treatment for Bond 25 prior to Boyle coming aboard.
Purvis and Wade were the first choice since they have always delivered in the franchise and share a close relationship with Craig.
As of now the only thing that the Studio can pray for is that they manage to put the film back on track , before they lose their BOND too.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
