Many speculations are doing the rounds on the future of the DC Universe just when one feels they are about to shut shop they pull a Rabbit out of the hat. The funny part is it’s the supporting Super Hero’s that have been drawing the big ticket sales not the Stand alone Superman or Batman films.
It happened with Wonder Women and now with Aquaman and seems it will rock again in 2021 .
The flash who was the most liked Character in the Justice League is all set to have it’s own standalone film however the lightning fast Super Hero will not be hitting screens anytime soon.
The Studio has been delaying the launch however now we have learn’t that Filming is expected to start late next year and is set for a 2021 release.
As of now , no news on the director or the rest of the cast is in place as our sources inform us that the script is still being worked on however a 2019 start date is in place.
Ezra Miller, who portrayed the Flash in Justice League (2017), and is tabbed to reprise the role, is already locked-in for duty in another high-profile Warner Bros. project and the reason for that is that is that they don’t want Miller to work outside and start flash immediately after.
The flash has been a difficult film to set up for the Studio . It was easily set up as a tv series but some how the film has been an uphill task.
Phil Lord and Chris Miller were on board way back in 2015 however the film never took off.
We hope the flash sees a release sooner than 2021 , as he’s one of the most entertaining Characters in the DCU .
