Hobbs and Shaw is making all sorts of noises some good and some controversial but it is make a lot of noises. The Father of the Fast world Neil Mortz is suing Universal for giving him a Bad deal on the Shaw and Hobbs Spin . As per our sources the matter should get settled soon however the fight has left a bitter taste in Mortz’s mouth and is reconsidering his options on other projects.
On the Brighter note the film is drawing a lot of talent and the newest member to be added is Eddie Marsan. Eddie has been a part of hit shows like Ray Donovan and many other shows . Marsan has also been part of Atomic blonde. Not surprisingly he’s collaborating with his Atomic Blonde director .
Hobbs and Shaw stars Johnson as U.S. Diplomatic Security Agent Luke Hobbs who forms an unlikely alliance with Statham’s Deckard Shaw. What’s amazing is the Chemistry between these two Bald beasts and the Studio decided to create a Spin off which is a phenomenal idea.
Chris Morgan has written the script and is all set to produce the film as well. This is the 7th time Morgan has written for the Fast world and he’s the best choice as he knows the world inside and out.
The film is set to hit theaters world wide on August 2019.
