Millennium is expanding it’s Action slate to the Super Hero Genre and the first step in that expansion has been the acquisition of the Hell boy Franchise.
The story follows A well-meaning half-demon whose true name is Anung Un Rama (“and upon his brow is set a crown of flame”), Hellboy was summoned from Hell to Earth as a baby on October 5th (given as his birth date by Mike Mignola) by Nazi occultists (spawning his hatred for the Third Reich).
The Objective was for him to rain hell on earth, however he was taken in by a loving Scientist, who raised him as his son and taught him human values .
Soon the destroyer turns protector and works with the US government to take down any monsters that may threaten man kind.
The first film was made in 2004 by renounced film maker Guillermo Del Toro the film made a 100 million dollars and was followed up with a sequel titled ” Hellboy the golden army ” which did close to double the business of the first.
However Deltoro moved on and so did Ron Pearlman . Almost 11 years later the franchise has been revived and the new journey introduces the New Hellboy David Harbour who once again works for the people and fights off monsters , however when a greater power from his side of the world emerges and threatens all of man kind Hell Boy must rise to the occasion and save the day.
For starters the trailer has a light fun tone to it , Director Niel Marshall who’s best known for his work on game of thrones has decided to keep a light feel to the tone of the film . The writers manage to keep the one liners and make the trailers entertaining.
The visual effects are fairly decent and David makes an intense Hell Boy. This is the first time Millennium has approached a Super Hero film and has put together a good product.
The trailer has received 1200 trend tracks with a B+ score and looking at a 18million first frame.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
