Though the film had not performed that has not stopped Rodriguez from moving onto his next . Robert Rodriguez next action thriller Hypnotic is moving forward a deal between Solstice Studios and Studio 8.
The film follows a follows a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program, while investigating a string of impossible high-end heists and the reason behind those heists.
Though no one has been cast for the Studios are in talks with some Major Actors to play parts in the film and there are enough people excited to be working with Robert.
The film has been touted to be in the range of 60 to 80 million USD though not as big as his previous film , the film will be much bigger than his other releases.
Rodriguez scripted the movie with Max Borenstein (Kong: Skull Island). the film is all set to shoot early next year and will have a 2020 release.
The film is produced by Mark Gill who is ex millennium along with Jeff Robinov and his Studio 8 colleagues Guy Danella and John Graham.
Solstice’s slate also includes Russell Crowe thriller Unhinged, action-thriller Manhunt and assassin story Split Second the studio is on his way on the Millennium model.
