We recently Broke the news that Brad Pitt was returning to his Action ways after Troy which released 16 years ago with Sony’s Bullet Train.
Now the film has added one more cast member to it’s steller cast. The Kissing Booth’s Joey King is all set to Star opposite Brad Pitt. News was on that she was in Negotiations however now it has been confirmed.
The film is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka. In the novel, five assassins find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to one another.
The film is directed by Hobbs and Shaw director David Leitch . Leitch is on a fast track to becoming the go to guy for Action films in LA LA LAND.
Leitch will also be over seeing the script with Zak Olkewicz writing it , however Letich will be an integral part of the writing process.
Kings plays one of four leads opposite Pitt; King is believed to be the only woman in the group. It would be King’s most action-heavy part to date, Leitch was so impressed with Kings that he feels that she could be the next Charlize Theron.
Leitch and Kelly McCormick will produce “Bullet Train” through their company 87North, along with Antoine Fuqua who was originally supposed to direct the film .
