The master of Explosions is back , however this time he is not wearing the directors hat in fact he is parking himself on the Producers Chair.
Michael Bay is all set to produce the Action Drama series around a Bounty Hunter working South of the border who finds himself in a desperate fight for survival when the man he’s been chasing down lands them both in trouble with the Mexican cartel.
The Series is written by Joe Barton who has written series like the Lazarus Project and half bad. Joe has a good command on the Action Drama genre and is a good edition to the writing team.
Bay said he was inspired about 5 years ago when he was hanging out down in Costa Rica, with a former US Federal Agent, who surfs every day, living the good life, He supports his fun, relaxed lifestyle in Costa Rica by tracking down ‘Bad Gringos’ hiding out down in South America.
Co producing the show is Bay’s long time partner and friend Brad Fuller along with Range Media Partners and Wise Entertainment. Though Bay is not directing the series for now our sources tell us he will be directing the pilot episode.
Seeing the success of Six underground Amazon wanted to replicate the success and this seems to be the perfect model as amazon has found great success in their similar genre shows like Jack Ryan and The Terminal list.
