Janatha Garage, after a smashing collection in its first one week, is headed to the prestigeous Rs 100-crore club. The movie which was released in Telugu and dubbed in Malayalam has grossed over Rs 79 crore worldwide in both the languages till date.
According to the data published by ABO, the movie earned Rs 51 crore in AP and Nizam alone. Interestingly in Karnataka and the USA there was a massive collection of Rs 10.5 crore and 9.50 crore respectively.
The Jr NTR-Mohanlal starrer had a massive start,of around Rs 21 crore on day one. This movie has become the fastest grosser for Jr NTR in his acting career and also his fourth movie to have crossed the20 cr D1 mark. The movie also had set the second highest record in its first week in Tollywood.
