Ajay Devgn is back with his latest release Baadshaho where he has teamed up with director Milan Lutheria. The Duo has come together in the past for Once Upon A Time in Mumbai A gang Saga that did well commercially . However the Sequel to the film was a disaster. The director returns after a 4 year hiatus with his favorite hero whom him self is coming off his last averagely successful film Shivaay . Can the due recreate history together once again. Let’s find out.
To Start with Baadshaho is set during the time of the Emergency in India. A truck carrying tons of Gold is being transported under the protection of an elite army , however the truck has attracted the attention of some dare devil crooks lead by Devgn who plan to loot the truck. Time is short and can they manage to achieve their mission makes for the film.
To start with the trailer jumps multiple emotions it starts off with the feel of an oceans heist and soon moves into the space of a Not a penny more not a penny less. Both films work individually but a mash up of the two is a recipe for a sour taste. Though the makers have prepped the film with a strong supporting cast ( emran Hasmi, Vidyut Jamwal ) Not a single frame stays with you
The action designed by Ramadan is extremely average and not one would expect from a big budget movie. Even the shot of the Jeep exploding is too wide to give any sort of feeling of amazement. Vidyut Jamwal is getting extremely repetitive with his antics he seriously needs to re think his moves before his next en devour. Emran Hashmi who is seen on screen after ages has lost his appeal . I Don’t think it was the right move for him.
The first teaser of Baadshaho is a big disappointment our analytics have given us a C- , one expects much more from the main trailer.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
