Charlize Theron has been planning this action flick for a few years now. After picking up the rights to Antony Johnston and Sam Hart’s graphic novel The Coldest City, the film has been adapted with a new title : Atomic Blonde. Theron takes on the role of a skilled intelligence operative, Agent Lorraine Broughton, called into action when an undercover MI6 spy is killed. The story is set in 1989 just before the fall of the Berlin Wall. This Cold War thriller is a deadly game of double-crossing agents and global agendas.
There are some complex fight choreography and brutal stunt work. Fight choreographer-turned-director David Leitch gives this film a gritty edge, and Theron stands out as a real kick-ass female fighter. She manages combat scenes with multiple attackers and even trained to handle the tricky MMA skill called a “hanging arm throw” where she flings herself on the ground, landing on her back, to throw another man over her head.
Atomic Blonde is going to be a total adrenalin rush.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
