Paisa Vasool is a big production that makes the Tollywood hero and screen star Balakrishna’s energetic performance fit the mass scale of fan-following. He mouths trademark dialogues and punch lines with finesse. The film saw a good opening day reception in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and also had a profitable day in Karnataka and the United States.
And because of superstar Balakrishna, Paisa Vasool continued to fare well on Saturday, September 2, with its total collection surpassing the Rs 20 Cr mark. On the second day of its release, the movie is estimated to have collected Rs 5.29 Cr from the Telugu states. And worldwide collected Rs 6.21 Cr on the second day, helping the movie cross the Rs 20 Cr mark.
The entire second half of Paisa Vasool is set in Europe and it looks quite grand in terms of money spent. Music by Anup Rubens is catchy.
The director Puri Jagannadh has played it safe by rehashing Balakrishna’s previous films and made a story out of it. But that’s what the masses want, they love their hero avatar. Paisa Vasool is Balakrishna’s 101st film, but his first with director Puri Jagannadh.
Storyline: Bob Marley(Vikramajeet) is an Indian don who has now settled down in Europe. The entire police force is after him but no one manages to even get a clue about his deeds. Left with no choice, the cops decide to deal the case with the help of a dangerous gangster called Teda Singh(Balakrishna).
They approach Teda Singh and he too happily agrees to do the task. But the cops get a shock of their lives when they come to know that Teda Singh already has a connection with Bob Marley. Who is this Teda Singh? What does he have to do with Bob Marley? and how does he nab the dreaded gangster is the basic story.
This film’s USP is Balakrishna, and it’s a joyful treat for his fans.
