Stratton has all the makings of a typical Bond, Bourne, Mission Impossible type series. Based on the books by Duncan Falconer, Stratton is an engaging story of rogue agents and trained operatives. It’s a formulaic script, but it’s still entertaining for those who are into spy hero type film series.
John Stratton (Dominic Cooper) is a Special Boat Service operative for MI6, and his American counterpart Marty, are checking out a laboratory complex in Iran in order to intercept deadly biochemical weapons. The mission is botched and Marty is badly wounded and dies.
Back at base, Stratton is extremely upset by the loss of his friend. He is keen to extract revenge. His boss at MI6 has received intel that a former Russian agent – Barovski (Thomas Kretschmann)- has gone rogue, plotting an international terror attack on London. Thought to be dead for the last 20 years, it is believed Barovski has plans to take revenge on his former paymasters by using stolen chemical weapons. Stratton and his team are on a mission again, they must race against time and stop the deadly terror attack.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
