Out of the 70 % Single Screens 50% come under the 9% GST Tax Slab as they are Cat B Halls . There are speculations that the film has been made on a budget of A 120 Crores but seeing Mahesh’s last few Duds this news is far from true. The film has been Made on a budget of 70 Crs and should well break even at the Box Office.
On the Other Hand Kingsman the Golden Circle has Had another fantastic run at the Box Office. notably holding court in Korea with a royal $16.1M debut. That’s the biggest ever for an A rated movie there, and contributing to the 51 million Soft Launch outing in 75 total offshore sites for the Matthew Vaughn sequel. Overseas cume on Kingsman 2 is now $126.2M +. Worldwide, the total is $192.9M + The film will easily cross $200M this week.
The Golden Circle has out performed it’s predecessor by 50+ % in the current markets with indexing and inflation, and is holding the number 1 spot in 30 of it’s 75 markets . The Opening Number of Korea are way bigger than than the openings of this year’s Transformers: The Last Knight, The Fate Of The Furious and Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2.
The Golden Circle still has a good 40 % of it’s international roll out left and at the way it’s going the film is well on course to make the mile stone 500 GOLDEN mark as was predicted by us.
