Nicolas Cage is Back With a Score to Settle.

American Film Market is round the corner and a lot of production houses are making their film packages in order to close in their pre sales. Joining the band wagon are Producers at First Point Entertainment’s Lee Clay  and Goldrush Entertainment’s Eric Gozlan.

Who have signed Cage to Star in A score to Settle.  Directed by Shawn Ku, winner of the Toronto Film Festival’s Discovery Award for his debut feature Beautiful Boy. The screenplay has been penned by  John Newman and Christian Swegal.

A score to Settle has Cage playing  a convicted mob enforcer battling a terminal illness. He’s released from prison many years after taking the fall for a crime he didn’t commit and sets out on a path for revenge.  The Story has a similar feel to the 2010 Dwayne Johnson Starrer Faster.

Highland Film Group will introduce the project to international buyers during the AFM which opens Nov. 1 In California and hopefully Secure 40% of their pre sales.

Cage once one of the biggest draw at the BO has lost his commanding power with international Sales, however it will be interesting to see how this deal plays out.

We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
