Box Office Update of The Last Jedi

The Last Jedi is the only film this year to do parallel business in both Domestic and international market. To the American community the last Jedi is nothing short of their Mythology their culture and that is evident in the business and the age demographics of attendants.

The last Jedi has blasted to a 215 Million first frame debut beating Jurassic world to take the number 3 opening spot of all times. The film is tracking phenomenally in most circuits and is looking to do a business of a  500 million domestic at the speed it’s wrecking through.

Internationally the film has done a business of 231 million USD. With United Kingdom topping the Charts at a 36 million first frame. Germany comes in on the second place at 22 million . France is at 17 million . Russia is at 8.5 million . Italy at 6.9 million and Brazil at 7.3 million. India finished at 1.4 million but there’s not much draw for the film in the Indian Subcontinent.

At the current trend and with China not opening anytime soon the film is well on it’s way to do a billion dollars at the Box office and another billion easy in merchandise .
