Riddley Scott to direct the adaptation of Queen and Country.

One of the greatest directors of our times, Sir Riddley Scott is Set to adapt the  award-winning graphic novel by Greg Rucka called Queen and Country.

Queen and Country is a british spy thriller that is set in a fictional British Secret Intelligence Service. The story centers around an operative named Tara Chace, “a top British intelligence agent who is used as bait to draw out an international terrorist after an attack in London kills thousands.

Queen & Country has grown into something of  great repute with comics and novels fans. The project is currently at 20th Century Fox with  John Rogers, Ryan Condel, Olivia Milch taking charge of developing the screenplay. Ex 20th century Fox  President Peter Chernin’s production house Chernin Entertainment is taking over the project.

Chernin has previously produced Exodus with Scott and was set to develop another film before this project came into the hands of the producer and director.

Scott is said to be in talks to direct a film on the life of Merlin , however the Queen seems to be his first choice of preference .
