The reason we are reporting the Numbers of Saamy Square today and not on Monday has been because it was extremely difficult to compile net numbers . Usually the final number reported in All Hindi speaking states in India are net numbers, however the definition of net does not include deductions and OTT expenses.
Compiling these numbers has been a real task since trend track’s algorithm to report gross numbers for the English films, and Net numbers to report Hindi speaking films. This is one of the first times we have reported numbers for the South Indian market and that too of all states.
The film grossed 19 crs in Tamil nadu, The film did a share of 7 crs plus in Andra and Telengana which translates to a 11.50 gross . The film did a business of 1.5 crs net in Kerala which is around 3 crs gross and did a business of about 2 crs net in Karnataka which is around 3.75 gross .
The film has grossed around 35.5 crs first frame domestic , though lot of distributors were not will to give exact numbers amdb had to connect with locals exhibitors to pull numbers.
Coming to mission impossible 6, as predicted by trend track the film currently stands at 785 million USD world wide and is well on it’s way to closing it’s final run at 800 million plus. We were the first to report these numbers before any tracking agency and were the first to out bid them by 200 million in our prediction.
Coming to The Equalizer 2, the film is a monster hit as is on it’s way to doing a business of 200 million plus world wide,the film that opened in India recently had zero publicity or awareness and still did a business of close to a million dollars.
