Universal Soldier set to be Rebooted.

Van Damme easily one of the biggest action Stars in the 90’s had a few franchises to his name and one of them was Universal Soldier . The film was directed by the Maverick Roland Emmerich and produced by Carloco films ‘s Mario Kassar and Robert Vajra .

Made on a budget of 23 million the film went on to make a 100 million plus world wide . Now Over 25 years later the  film is all set to be brought to life again.

Universal Soldier will receive a modern update from The Equalizer writer Richard Wenk. The Equalizer has been one of the rare films that has received commerical , critic and cult Status.

In the Original The two play deceased soldiers who are resurrected as a part of a government program, but once memories of their old life – and bitter rivalry – returns, they face off once again.

The franchise created a few Spin offs like Two TV movie sequels dubbed Brothers In Arms and Unfinished Business.

Van Damme tried to revive the franchise in 2009 but that was a straight to DVD movie.  It’s always good to get fresh minds on Projects and this will one benefit the once in Demand franchise.

We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
