Diane Nelson is one of those people who was one of the main architects of the DCE Universe , along with Jeoff Johns Neeson not only contributed to DCU she was an integral part of DC entertainment and helped develop assets that were trans media.
She now has moved on to help set up Jeffrey Katzenberg‘s start up Quibi which is a platform to develop and create mobile content from games to short films and series to animation. Quibi plan to launch its mobile video offering at the end of 2019 after raising more than $1 billion in Private Equity.
The Platform will mostly consist of Action Hybrid content with majority of the investment will be dispersed , the next will be animation and then so on.
Katzenberg who was former studio head and even before that Super talent agent has always had a keen eye for evolving media trends and him raising this amount of money shows that he’s got a full prof plan ahead of his launch which is not too far away now.
It’s very interesting to see how this all plays out. Keep reading this space for more.
