Breaking- Show time green lights Action Spy Thriller titled ” Intelligence”

After the Success of Strike Back , Showtime has Ordered another Action Series for it’s robust Action fan following and subscriber base.

Intelligence is created By Oscar winning writer Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty ) this is the first time Boal will be associated with a TV Series. 

Intelligence, based on real stories from around the world, and will explore the secret inner workings of power – how espionage intersects with politics, finance, media and Silicon Valley.

The first season will dramatize the behind-the-scenes history leading up to the 2016 U.S. election, with each subsequent season looking at a major world event through the lens of covert operations.

The show’s is in the space of A Jack Ryan so expect some decent explosions and gun fights .

The show is produced By Zero Dark thirty producer Megan Ellison who’s worked with boal Earlier. The show is also co produced by Media Res.

It’s always interesting to see how these shows play out JAck Ryan opened new door for The Action Spy thriller genre and hopefully Intelligence will set a new bench mark.
