Breaking- Film Bridge international and Merlin films come together for 2 Action films.

The on going Cannes film festival has all the biggies making all the announcements  however Indies too are making announcements too and good  ones.

Film Bridge International, an indie entertainment company set up by producer Ellen Wander (Spinning Man), has inked a two-picture production deal with Irish-based Merlin Film, headed by veteran film director John Boorman .

The 2 films in Question are first a heist film Underground, which Boorman will direct from a script he co-wrote with Ted Campbell, and on the gritty, action thriller Assassins Club, from Irish filmmaker Stephen Saint Leger.

Underground follows an Irish mob family struggling to get out of the business who are tempted by one last job when they discover an abandoned tunnel beneath jewelry store Tiffany & Company the film is set in Boston.

In Assassins Club, eight hitmen are each given contracts to kill one another. The only way out is for one assassin — Morgan — to leave a trail of bodies behind and find who set them all up.

Its interesting to see what director Saint Leger who last made Lock out with Guy Pierce will bring to the table with his interpretation to Assassin’s club.
