Way back in 2017 we at amdb had informed you’ll that Streaming Giant Netflix had received funding of 3 Billion dollars and would allot more than 60% of that given funding to developing Action films. The Bet payed off and significantly.
They have released 3 Action films in the last 3 Quarters Six Underground , Extraction, The Old Guard and they have proven to be magnificently successful for the streaming Giants.
The Giants have now realized that in Order to make every Quarter work they need one Big Action film to average out all the rest of the under performers.
Not Wasting anytime they have Fast tracked Extraction 2, and from our sources we have learnt that they are also processing the Old Guard 2.
However seeing the trend and the dependability the giants need for Action films it’s clear that they want to go big and wide and their next approved sings of all that.
Netflix just announced that they will make The Grey man Starring Ryan Gosling( Drive) and Chris Evans ( Captain America) on a mammoth budget of 210 Million dollars. This is the biggest film in the history of the Giants the Second being the Irish man ( 180 million) third Six Underground ( 150 million)
The film is directed by the Russo Brother their first since they smashed the record for the world’s biggest grosser. the is based on the 2009 Mark Greaney novel that introduced the Gray Man, a freelance assassin and former CIA operative named Court Gentry.
The action thriller is a deadly chase between killers as Court Gentry (Gosling) is hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former co worker of Gentry’s at the CIA.
While rest of the platfroms are still struggling in finding their in house Franchises Netflix has well got it’s in not one but potentially 4 franchises Six Underground , The Old Guard, Extraction, and Potentially The Grey man.
