Breaking- Action wins the Box Office with Shia La Beouf’s Action Thriller The Tax Collector

While the world Exhibition business is bleeding there is respite for the American Box Office as Action has once again proven to rescue the Box office.

Shia La Beouf who won hearts in Micheal Bay’s Transformers is once again back in his element with his latest release The Tax Collector.

The film is about avid Cuevas is a family man who works as a gangland tax collector for high ranking Los Angeles gang members.

He makes collections across the city with his partner Creeper making sure people pay up or will see retaliation. An old threat returns to Los Angeles that puts everything David loves in harm’s way.

The film is directed By Suicide Squad Director David Ayer . The film has earned 330 thousand dollars at a 140 theaters in North America.

A film like this world normally open to 2000 theaters and would have raked in any where between 9 – 12 million dollars first frame.

At the Vineland Drive-In just outside Los Angeles, The Tax Collector charted both the highest Saturday and highest Friday single-day grosses since their reopening.

The film has done average business on PVOD . It’s interesting to see that the the film has out performed in Cinema Halls  and people are excited to come back for the big screen experience.

Action once again saves the day.
