So Bollywood’s latest offering is an upcoming Action Drama Set in the second world War titled Rangoon. The film Stars Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Ms. Kangana Ranaut.
This film has been in the news and in the making for quite sometime, both reasons that lead to the director Vishal Bhardwaj . He’s known to really take his time in making his films, and making them expensive. Though non of his films have been commercial hits, He still manages to get a decent Star cast for his film.
For all the hype surrounding Rangoon , the trailer is at best Average. Bhadwaj tries to recreate the same feel that Tarantino had gives us with Inglorious Bastards , Sadly he fails.
The VFX done by Drishyam Effects is extremely fake , these were the same guys that did Mohenjodaro . The Action is Average and not an interesting watch.
On the whole, the trailer is disappointing.
