James Cameron Planning a Revival of Terminator

NEWS BITE: James Cameron is proposing to reinvent the whole Terminator franchise. The rights to the characters and ideas revert to Cameron in 2019 and he wants to produce a Terminator Reboot with Deadpool’s director Tim Miller. In a recent interview to various media, he said he might revisit the futuristic world again, but not with one film, but a trilogy of the Terminator movies. It’s an ambitious plan, and possibly a good one with Terminator fans still eager for more.

Currently, Cameron is knee-deep in filming the Avatar sequels, which are in development, and he’s all set to start the shoot after the design phase is completed.

It will be interesting to see how this idea pans out. Tim Miller is a very talented director and with James Cameron at the helm, it could help the Terminator franchise back on track. Will it be a full-on transformation? Or similar to the old sci-fi films? It is all unclear for now,  but looks like it’s definitely not goodbye or ‘Hasta la vista, baby’ for the cyborg as yet.
