Stallone will not appear in Tiger Shroff’s Rambo

The media has been buzzing with Tiger Shroff’s upcoming film where he stars in the Rambo remake. This blog has been following the super ripped Tiger Shroff, who has a martial arts background, and would definitely do justice to the role.

In the Hindi version of  Rambo, the story follows the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land. Forced into the dangerous jungles and frozen mountains of the Himalayas, he unleashes mayhem and destruction, becoming the unstoppable machine he was trained to be.

The big question is will Sly Stallone make a cameo appearance in the Bollywood version?

To squash rumours of the possibility, Deadline received an official communication: Stallone will not be in the  Tiger Shroff’s version.

Through a spokesperson, Stallone states that “any involvement in Tiger Shroff’s Rambo is not happening, under any circumstances.” Stallone has nothing against the project, just a desire to make it clear he doesn’t have anything do to with it. “I wish them well on their own,” he said.

Stallone has been totally immersed on the Creed sequel for MGM. He is writing the script and has hinted online that the plot might pit Michael B. Jordan’s Adonis character against the son of Drago, the Russian heavyweight (played by Dolph Lundgren) who killed Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) in the ring during 1985’s Rocky IV. The hope is to get that film into production next year.
