Record-breaking Box Office Hits: Black Panther and Operation Red Sea

Trend setter action sci-fi flick, Black Panther has scored $400 million in North America, making it the third-fastest movie to reach the milestone—in just 10 days—it looks like it will soon cross Captain America: Civil War and Iron Man 3′s domestic returns of $408.1 million and $409 million, respectively.

With a current international gross of $304 million, Black Panther‘s worldwide intake currently stands at $704 million.

Black Panther is currently the fifth highest grossing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe domestically and the tenth worldwide.

Chinese military action film Operation Red Sea was released in the U.S. cinemas on Friday 24th February, looking set to become another blockbuster after smash-hit Wolf Warrior 2 in 2017. The film was welcomed even though Black Panther was scoring high. Dante Lam’s rescue thriller Operation Red Sea follows up after his 2016 blockbuster Operation Mekong with this story of a Chinese rescue mission set in a fictional Arab country

It is the No. 1 movie internationally this weekend, taking the top spot in China with daily increases from Friday through Sunday. The gross intake is now an estimated $334 million after a $106.4 million weekend.

We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
