MGM is a studio that’s known for making the best Spy movies, case in point The James Bond Series. Though the Studio has been through a rough patch over the years one brand that has always kept them in the green is James Bond.
For a while the studio has been trying to adapt Terry Hayes‘s espionage novel trilogy I Am Pilgrim and nearly 4 years later the studio has found a director worth to Helm this adaptation and it’s non other than James Grey.
James Grey is hot on the scene and has just completed Ad Astra, the sci-fi epic hat stars Brad Pitt for New Regency and Fox.
Pilgrim is the code name for a man who doesn’t exist. The adopted son of a wealthy American family, he once headed a secret U.S. espionage unit. Now in anonymous retirement, he is called upon to lend his expertise to an unusual investigation but ultimately is caught in a race against-time to save America from oblivion.
MGM has a decent line up with the next Bond Installment Creed 2 and now I am Pilgrim . The last on the list will attract some well known talent as the novel is a best seller.
Hayes has previously written Road Warrior films, Dead Calm and payback from hell.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
