Brad Peyton has just come off the extremely successful Rampage . The film has done over 430 million world wide and is in the top 10 hits of the year as on date. Peyton who has collaborated with Dwayne the rock Johnson on multiple projects is keen to work on something and with some one different this time round.
Peyton is all set to direct the graphic novel adaptation of Skyward . Sony Pictures has preemptively landed the film rights to Joe Henderson’s graphic novel .
The Image Comics graphic novel that Henderson co-created with Lee Garbett tells the story is set in a world where gravity suddenly becomes a fraction of what it is now and humanity is adapting to its new low-gravity reality.
The movie will follow a woman born just after G-Day who has become accustomed to it, but has come across a dangerous plan to bring gravity back.
Peyton who soon wants to be the next Michael Bay was heading saying that from now on and seeing the success of Rampage he only wants to focus on big tentpole and Skyward is the right content to further his vision.
No news on the casting has been given , however keeping in mind the buzz on ALita Battle Angel that too has a girl as the protagonist this could be a big ticket for Peyton.
