Way Back in 2017 End we had broken the news that Netlfix had received 3 Billion Dollars in Funding out of that more than 60 % was going to be used to develop and Produce Action content.
Seeing the success of Extraction we see the number going up significant. Though panned by most critics whom anyways don’t know a dam thing on the Action or infact any Genre.
The film has gone on to exceed expectations. Extraction continues to becoming Netflix’s most watched feature film ever .
Even if the lock down added to 25% of the viewership the film still makes one of the most watch films on Netflix. ( IF we remove forced viewership) Micheal Bay’s Six Underground still makes it as the highest watched film on the platfrom.
Both films are of the Action Genre and while there is speculation on the Six Undergound Sequel there is no confusion on Extraction.
Joe Russo, has closed a deal to write another installment of the high action film His company AGBO will produce along with Hemsworth.
One is not sure if Sam Hargrave will return but that is quite a possibility however Hemsworth will be Back to reprise his role as mercenary Tyler Rake.
Russo said that deal was closed for him to write Extraction 2, and they were in the formative stages of what the story could be.
The Russo’s know the exact space they want to be in with 21 Bridges doing decent and extraction shooting through the roof they are clearly walking the action path.
