Netflix is coming off the super successful Extraction Amazon is upcoming it’s action slate. Seeing the success of Jack Ryan the Giants are greenlighting another series in the same Sub genre and boy have they got big names attached to it.
Amazon Studios has greenlite the conspiracy thriller series The Terminal List, starring and executive produced by Chris Pratt who makes his return to small screen in a long long time.
The show is based on Jack Carr’s bestselling novel of the same name . The Terminal List follows James Reece (Pratt) after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission.
Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light.
Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life but the lives of those he loves. He must fight his way to make sure he keeps them safe and avenge the deaths.
The Series will be co produced and directed by the extremely talented Antoine Fuqua who’s coming off the monster success of Equalizer 2 and has another big action film coming up in Infinite Starring Mark Wahlberg .
Keeping with Fuqua’s love for authenticity he has asked veterans and their families to be a part of multiple aspects of the series production, starting with writing.
Pratt is working very hard to shed his comedy image and be taken seriously as an action hero. He Acquired the rights to the book and got Fuqua on board who’s known to make men look Ultimately Macho.
Fuqua and Pratt have worked together on the Magnificent seven and though the film didn’t do well they made a bond with one another.
