This morning Seems to be all about Sony , Bullet train has added another major cast member and now Sony’s Metal Gear Solid too has added another Major Cast.
Oscar Isaac is attached to play Solid Snake in Sony’s Much Awaited adaptation of Metal Gear Solid. The film is based on the Metal Gear Solid video game created by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami.
The year is 2005, six years after the downfall of Zanzibarland. A renegade genetically-enhanced special forces unit, FOXHOUND, has seized a remote island in Alaska‘s Fox Archipelago codenamed “Shadow Moses”, the site of a nuclear weapons disposal facility.
FOXHOUND threatens to use the nuclear-capable mecha, Metal Gear REX, against the US government if they do not receive the remains of Big Boss and the ransom of $1 billion within 24 hours. Solid Snake is forced out of retirement by Colonel Roy Campbell to infiltrate the island and neutralize the threat.
The film is Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, the director who has previously worked on Skull Island will be Directing the Video game adaptation.
Isaac is no Stranger to Action , He was last seen in Triple frontier for netflix along with Movies like Bourne Series. It will be interesting to see what he brings to the table.
