Gareth Evans a master director of Action who brought us the Raid Series says that Raid 2 was the last Raid film he was going to do.
The first Raid was Die Hard flipped backwards where the Hunters become the hunted . Made on a budget of 800000 thousand USD the film went on to gross over 18 million world wide.
He was recent heard speaking to a daily where he said The Raid 1 and 2 were incredible for him, however he just didn’t want to be doing The Raids all the time.
And the more time has gone on from that, the less interested he’s been to go back there. Raid 2 ended the story nicely and he wants it to be that way.
He said he had a storyline for Raid 3 but that time has passed and he is no longer interested in doing that film anymore.
Evans is busy promoting aposte which he has directed for netflix and is all set to direct the Dead Shot stand alone with Joe Mangenello for DC.
Evans might have moved away but Iko Uwais is still keen on the franchise so don’t be surprised if you see Uwais directing the next Raid film.
We at amdb.in wish the entire team all the very best.
