Rupert Friend though best known for his work in Homeland is no Stranger to the world of Action. Rupert has been a part of Hitman Agent 47 and has done a good Job playing the Character.
Now that everyone has seen his Action Chops , Friend has landed a Role in a Major Actioner titled Waldo. The film based on the Novel Last Looks by Howard Michael Gould.
The film is about a disgraced LAPD detective who’s spent the past three years living off the grid. He’s reluctantly pulled back into his old life by a former lover in order to solve the murder of an eccentric celebrity’s wife.
The film already stars Mel Gibson and Charlie Hunnam and is directed by Tim Kirby. The film also Stars Eiza Gonzalez who seems to be a part of every Action franchise these days.
Friend is currently working on CBS All Access series Strange Angel, now in its second season. Hitman agent 47 made on a budget of 20 million dollars did close to 60 million world wide.
